SR 80 (Southern Blvd) Bridge Replacement Project
- The project is 96% complete.
- Johnson Bros. is installing span locks and handrail on the bascule leaves for the
replacement drawbridge as well as installing columns and balustrades on the main piers. The
fender system also is being installed.
- Johnson Bros. is currently constructing the north side of the tide relief bridge. In
addition, drainage, handrail and sidewalks are being constructed on Bingham Island.
- The temporary bridge opened to traffic in May 2018. The overall project is anticipated to be completed in summer 2023.
